In my laptop, there are 4 USB ports 2 on each side. But when I connect it to any of the ports on the right side where both ports are USB 3. All ports work perfectly once inside Windows. Hello Greg, Thanks for the reply. Are you freee to the Fre 10 installation media? It is not necessary to keep a bootable copy of WIndows or clone for file backup purposes. Instead just have a simple, free backup plan like this one I'll share with you that has worked for zsd of others: The safest and most reliable backup method is to sort your files into their User Folders Documents, Desktop, Pictures, Downloads, etc and periodically drag or copy them to external or another hard drive.
